ZyKT Soap is a prescription medicine used to treat dandruff, killing microorganisms causing dandruff and providing relief from itchy and flaky scalp.

ZyKT Soap should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. It is for external use only. Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include burning, itching, irritation and redness at the application site. If these side effects or any other symptoms which you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are suffering from any other disease.

ZyKT Soap is a combination of two medicines: Cetrimide and Ketoconazole. Cetrimide is an antiseptic which kills bacteria, fungi and viruses on the scalp and treats flaky and itchy scalp. Ketoconazole is an antifungal. It works by stopping the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
Use twice weekly for 2-4 weeks. Clean and dry your scalp before applying it. To help prevent dandruff from returning, you can continue to use ZyKT Soap once every 1-2 weeks or as prescribed by the doctor. Try not to get the medicine into your eyes or mouth but if this happens, rinse it out with water as soon as possible.
Wash your hair or any infected skin area with ZyKT Soap. Keep it in contact for 3 to 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Use of ZyKT Soap is not recommended for patients with known allergies to any of its components or excipients. Consult your doctor if you are unsure about using ZyKT Soap.
Store this medicine in its original container, tightly sealed. Store according to the instructions provided on the package or label. Discard any unused medicine. Ensure that it is not accessible by pets, children, or other people.
