Glimepiride (1mg) + Metformin (850mg)
Zoryl MF 1 Tablet is an anti-diabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults by controlling blood sugar levels.
Tablet
Zoryl MF 1 Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Glimepiride and Metformin, used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Glimepiride increases insulin release from the pancreas, while Metformin lowers glucose production in the liver, delays glucose absorption from the intestines, and enhances the body's sensitivity to insulin. This combination helps in better control of blood sugar levels. It is important to monitor blood sugar levels regularly while on this medication. Potential side effects include hypoglycemia, especially when combined with other antidiabetic medicines or alcohol, and a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis. Regular liver function tests may be required. Consult your doctor for personalized advice.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Zoryl MF 1 Tablet should be taken with food.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine as it can control blood sugar better than metformin alone. Continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Zoryl MF 1 Tablet. Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach. Monitor your blood sugar level regularly while you are taking this medicine. It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal. Inform your doctor about your diabetes treatment if you are due to have surgery under a general anesthetic. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, persistent nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain as Zoryl MF 1 Tablet may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis. Your doctor may check your liver function regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice).
