Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It relieves the symptoms of the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Baby should be closely monitored for development of fever, loss of appetite and diarrhea. In case, any of the above happens please inform your doctor immediately.

Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop is an antibiotic. It treats bacterial eye infections by preventing the bacteria from dividing and repairing. It does so stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment with Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop even if you feel better. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the medication. Do not touch the tip to any surface or to your eye to avoid contamination. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop may cause short term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up. Make sure to use Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop within 4 weeks of opening the medication.
Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop should not be used for more than seven days, unless your doctor tells you to. Prolonged use may lead to bacterial resistance, making the medicine less effective. Please consult your doctor if you do not see improvement in your symptoms.
This eye drop may be used with other eye drops, as prescribed by your doctor. Ensure a 10-15 minute interval between medication applications.
Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop is an antibiotic and is used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as conjunctivitis.
For most eye infections, you might notice improvement within two days. However, consistent use of the medication based on your doctor’s prescription is essential to maximize results. Do not stop using the medicine without consulting your doctor.
Before beginning treatment, inform your doctor if you have any problems with vision, severe eye pain, recent eye injury, history of conjunctivitis, dry eyes, or glaucoma (due to increased intraocular pressure).
Always wash your hands before and after using Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop. This helps prevent the spread of infection from one eye to another. Remove the cap just before use and replace it immediately after applying the medicine. Avoid touching the bottle's nozzle with your fingers. Tilt your head back, gently pull down your lower eyelid with a clean finger, hold the bottle over your eye, allow a single drop to fall into the space between your lower lid and your eye. Close your eye and gently press a finger against the inner corner of your eye (over the eyelid) for about one minute. This helps prevent the drop from draining out of the eye. Repeat in the other eye if your doctor has prescribed this.
If you typically wear contact lenses, do not wear them while using Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop. You can insert your lenses after a 15-minute interval following the eye drop application. Contact your doctor if you experience any persistent eye irritation.
Stinging, burning sensation, itching, and irritation are some possible side effects of this medication. However, they usually subside over time. If you experience persistent or worsening pain, consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible and skip the next scheduled dose. Do not try to make up for the missed dose with an extra amount. For medication reminders, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not worry if a few drops accidentally get into your eye. However, try to be careful and inform your doctor if you experience any adverse effects.
You do not need to refrigerate Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop after opening the bottle. However, store it at room temperature below 30℃ and use it within four weeks of opening the bottle.
After using Zeo Cip 0.3% Eye Drop, you should close your eyes for at least two to three minutes so the medicine gets absorbed into the eye.
