Frequently asked questions
Can I give my child cough and allergy medicines together, as they both address similar symptoms?
No. Do not mix cough and allergy medicines because they usually both contain similar ingredients. Mixing these can lead to double dosing of active ingredients, increasing the risk of serious side effects.
I'm concerned about my child's symptoms, how do I adjust their medication dose?
Please adhere to the prescribed dosage for your child’s Zenikast Syrup. Never increase or decrease the dosage by yourself, as this can negatively impact their health. While increasing the dose may lead to unwanted effects like sedation and depression, decreasing the dose or stopping it suddenly could trigger a rebound reversal of symptoms.
What's the proper way to store Zenikast Syrup?
Zenikast Syrup should be stored at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children to avoid any accidental intake.
Does Zenikast Syrup cause drowsiness in my child?
Zenikast Syrup can cause mild drowsiness, which might make your child feel sleepy. However, it's important to note that this medicine should not be used to induce sleep. Forced sleep could mask any underlying sleep disorder like insomnia.
My child is an athlete preparing for a competition in the next two days. Can I start treatment with Zenikast Syrup now?
