Zaxid-E Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).

Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). If you get diarrhea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Along with taking Zaxid-E Tablet you can use a heating pad or try gentle massage and relaxation techniques to get relief during periods. Inform your doctor if there is no improvement in your bleeding after using this medicine for three consecutive periods. Inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders.
