Introduction

Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet should be taken just before a meal. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your blood sugar levels. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Side Effects

stomach pain gas and diarrhea may occur during the first few weeks of treatment but should get better with time.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet.

Breastfeeding Warning

Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Interacting Medicines

Amiloride Atenolol Beclometasone Betamethasone

Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes responsible for breaking complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose levels from rising very high immediately after meals.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Yonimac 0.2mg Tablet lowers your post-meal blood sugar levels. It should be taken before meals.
