Introduction

Yekin S 50 mg/20 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration directed by your doctor. Take it regularly and do not discontinue using it until the doctor tells you it is alright to stop. Using of the medicine may cause some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and loss of appetite. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Yekin S 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Yekin S 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Famotidine which relieve abdominal pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by preventing the formation of chemicals responsible for fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling). Famotidine is an H2 blocker (type of antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to get relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

You have been prescribed Yekin S 50 mg/20 mg Tablet to get relief from abdominal pain and acidity. It is best to take it when the first sign of pain occurs. Avoid taking any antacid at least 2 hours before or after taking this medicine. Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and indigestion: Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food. Lose weight if you are obese. If you are a smoker, consider giving up. Don't drink too much alcohol. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
