Introduction

Xylox Adult 0.1% Nasal Spray should be used as advised by your doctor. It provides temporary relief from nasal congestion by narrowing the small blood vessels in the inner surface of the nose. This medicine works quickly and can last for several hours. However, using it too often or for too long may worsen your symptoms. Common side effects include burning sensation in the nose and throat, local irritation, nausea, headache, and dry nose. Consult your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid gland, glaucoma, or prostate enlargement before using this medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use.

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breathe gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostril.

Xylox Adult 0.1% Nasal Spray works right away and each dose provides relief for up to 12 hours. Shake the bottle before using the medicine. Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. Breathe out gently through your mouth and repeat the same process for the other nostril. Xylox Adult 0.1% Nasal Spray can make nasal congestion worse if used for more than 7 days in a row (called rebound congestion). Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective. Do not share the bottle with anyone else to avoid spreading germs.
