X-Mont-LC Syrup is a medication primarily used in children to alleviate symptoms of allergies, including runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It is also beneficial in managing asthma and skin allergies. The syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which work together to relieve allergy symptoms by blocking chemical messengers responsible for inflammation and allergic reactions. While it is effective in preventing asthma attacks, it should not be used to stop an ongoing attack. Always consult a healthcare professional before combining it with other medications.

X-Mont-LC Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks histamine, a chemical messenger responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Never use it to stop an attack that has already started as it will not help. If you are giving X-Mont-LC Syrup to your child for asthma or allergy, you need not give another dose to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems.
