Wovamet 500mg/200mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults.

Introduction

Wovamet 500mg/200mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is to be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. It may cause side effects like taste change, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor in case these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Wovamet 500mg/200mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

It may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemic symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxiety. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
