Introduction

Wipetri Plus Tablet should be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

Wipetri Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlorpromazine, Trihexyphenidyl and Trifluoperazine. Chlorpromazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment. Trifluoperazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.

Take Wipetri Plus Tablet at night as this medicine may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position or you may feel dizzy. Inform your doctor if you are taking any antidepressants. If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as Wipetri Plus Tablet may affect the levels of sugar in your blood. Avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Wipetri Plus Tablet can make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors. Keep your regular doctor's appointments so your progress can be checked.
