Wilcoxia MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew crush or break it. Wilcoxia MR Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Wilcoxia MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
Wilcoxia MR Tablet helps relieve pain due to muscle spasm. It may cause dizziness and fatigue. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Wilcoxia MR Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness. Regularly monitor your blood pressure while taking this medicine particularly in the first two weeks after starting treatment. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers heart diseases high blood pressure and liver or kidney disease.
For long-term pain relief, you should continue taking Wilcoxia MR Tablet as advised by your physician. If you're using it for short-term pain relief, you can stop once the pain is relieved.
Yes, some patients may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) when using Wilcoxia MR Tablet. If you feel dizzy, it's recommended to rest for a while and resume once you feel better.
