How it works
Welzox Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Frequently asked questions
What is Welzox Tablet?
Welzox Tablet contains diclofenac sodium, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. These ingredients work together to relieve muscle pain by reducing inflammation and decreasing the production of prostaglandins in the body, which contributes to pain and swelling.
Is Welzox Tablet safe to use?
Welzox Tablet is generally safe for most patients when used as directed. However, some common side effects may occur including nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. It's important to inform your healthcare provider if you experience any persistent problems or side effects.
Can I stop taking Welzox Tablet once my pain is relieved?
Your doctor will determine the appropriate duration for using Welzox Tablet based on the specific situation and individual needs. You should only discontinue the medication if your doctor advises so.
Does taking Welzox Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, some patients may experience nausea or vomiting while using Welzox Tablet. If you experience these symptoms, take it with food, milk, or antacids. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods alongside the medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water in small sips. Consult your doctor if nausea persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark-colored urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not self-medicate or take any other medications without consulting your doctor.
Does Welzox Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some patients may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) while using Welzox Tablet. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, rest for a few minutes and resume normal activity only when feeling better.
Does long-term use of Welzox Tablet damage the kidneys?
Long-term use of Welzox Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. The chemical prostaglandins naturally produced by the kidneys protect them from damage. Long-term use of painkillers, like those in Welzox Tablet, leads to decreased levels of these protective prostaglandins and potential kidney damage. If you have a history of kidney disease or other concerns, your doctor should advise against long-term use.
Can I exceed the recommended dose of this medicine?
Exceeding the recommended dosage of Welzox Tablet can increase the likelihood and severity of side effects. If you experience increased pain or if your pain is not alleviated by the prescribed doses, consult your doctor for a reassessment.
What are the proper storage conditions for Welzox Tablet?
Store Welzox Tablet in its original container and keep it tightly sealed. Check the instructions on the medication label for specific storage recommendations. Do not use the medicine past its expiry date, and dispose of unused medication according to your local guidelines.
