Waypra-Kid Tablet MD is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly. You can increase the efficiency of the treatment by eating smaller meals more often and avoiding caffeinated drinks (like tea and coffee) and spicy or fatty foods.

Waypra-Kid Tablet MD is a proton pump inhibitor medicine. It is used for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease (gastric and duodenal ulcers), reflux esophagitis, or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It can also be used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES) due to excessive acid production in the stomach.
Your doctor or nurse will show you how to give Waypra-Kid Tablet MD through a nasogastric (NG) tube. Open the Waypra-Kid Tablet MD capsule and empty the granules into a syringe. Mix the contents with apple juice in the syringe and attach it to the NG tube before giving it directly into the stomach. After administering, flush the NG tube with more apple juice to clear any remaining medicine.
Usually, Waypra-Kid Tablet MD is taken once a day in the morning on an empty stomach. If you are taking two doses of Waypra-Kid Tablet MD daily, take one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening. Always swallow the tablets whole (not chewed or crushed) at least 1 hour before meals and drink some water.
It is best to avoid foods that can worsen your condition, such as fried or spicy food, butter, oil, juices, caffeinated beverages (like cola and tea), citrus drinks (lemon water or orange juice), and alcohol.
