How it works
During radiotherapy, chemotherapy, abdominal infection, or any major surgeries, the dead cells in the body start releasing a chemical called serotonin directly into the blood. Giving Vomidamp 2mg Syrup just before the procedure helps block the effect of this chemical on vomiting centers of the brain and prevents vomiting.

Frequently asked questions
What is Vomidamp 2mg Syrup used for?
Vomidamp 2mg Syrup is generally prescribed before major surgeries or chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions. Your child's doctor might prescribe it for a few days if this condition arises. Follow the recommended dosage for best results.
What if my child takes too much Vomidamp 2mg Syrup?
While rare, overdose of Vomidamp 2mg Syrup might cause severe side effects like excessive drowsiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerks, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures. These symptoms are collectively known as serotonin syndrome. If any of these occur, contact your child’s doctor immediately.
How should Vomidamp 2mg Syrup be stored?
Keep Vomidamp 2mg Syrup at room temperature in a dry place away from direct heat and light. Make sure it is kept out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
What all medicines should my child avoid while taking Vomidamp 2mg Syrup?

In what conditions do I need to call my child’s doctor right away?
Immediately contact your child’s doctor if they develop symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as irregular heartbeat, green-colored vomiting, difficulty passing gas, pale skin and eyes, dark-colored urine, restlessness, and insomnia.
