Introduction

Viveta Cream should be used in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Generally, you should use the smallest amount needed to relieve your symptoms. Do not use it more often or longer than advised by your doctor. Avoid covering the treated area with bandages or tight clothing as it may increase the chance of side effects. This medicine may cause few common side effects such as swelling, application site redness, and skin discoloration. If you experience any such side effects that bothers you and do not go away, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Viveta Cream is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Tetracaine. They work by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain.

Viveta Cream is applied to numb the surgical area to help reduce pain or discomfort during minor surgical procedures. Dosage and length of application time are based on your age and medical condition and the procedure you are having. The area may be numb for several hours after the procedure. Be careful not to scratch the area or expose it to heat/cold until the sensation in the area returns.
