By lowering blood pressure and reducing the heart's workload, it helps prevent heart attacks and strokes. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult your doctor for any concerns, especially if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Vitabletend 8mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Vitabletend 8mg Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It regulates blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the pressure on them, making it easier for the heart to pump more blood throughout the body. This enhanced blood flow also improves oxygen flow, preventing heart-related chest pain (angina).
You have been prescribed Vitabletend 8mg Tablet to improve your blood pressure and/or to reduce the number and severity of angina attacks. Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attack and stroke. Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking Vitabletend 8mg Tablet. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It can cause ankle or foot swelling. To reduce the swelling, raise your legs while you are sitting down. Talk to your doctor if it does not go away. It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or perform any activity that requires mental focus until you know how Vitabletend 8mg Tablet affects you. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
