Vissco 5709 Anti-Embolism Stockings - Knee (Open Toe) are designed to provide graduated compression from the ankle to the knee, helping to improve blood flow and prevent deep vein thrombosis. They are suitable for bedridden patients, patients admitted to the ICU during surgery, and individuals experiencing pain and discomfort in the legs due to varicose veins.

To put on the stocking, follow these steps: Put on the applicator given in the box over the foot, slide the stocking up towards the knee, insert your hand in the stocking and hold the heel portion in your palm, reverse the stocking outward, slide the inverted stocking such that its heel portion fits your heel perfectly, and slowly start pulling up the stocking making sure there are no creases.

The graduated compression provided by the stocking helps to improve blood flow and prevent deep vein thrombosis.
