Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. You should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Vertell-D Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Vertell-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Cinnarizine.
You have been prescribed Vertell-D Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. It can make you feel dizzy. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body. Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. Vertell-D Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
Continue taking Vertell-D Tablet as directed by your doctor until they instruct you to stop. Stopping the medication prematurely may cause vertigo symptoms, such as dizziness and spinning, to return.
Store Vertell-D Tablet in its original packet or container, tightly sealed. Dispose of unused medication according to the packaging instructions. Ensure it is kept out of reach of children, pets, and other individuals who may accidentally ingest it.
