You may need to take this medicine for several months and you should take it for as long as prescribed by your doctor even if you start feeling better.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Vercon 16mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Vercon 16mg Tablet is a histamine analog. It works by improving the blood flow in the inner ear, which reduces the pressure of excess fluid there. Excess fluid can send signals to the brain causing nausea, dizziness, or spinning sensations (symptoms of Ménière's disease). Vercon 16mg Tablet additionally dampens down the nerve signals sent from the inner ear to the brain, relieving the symptoms of Ménière's disease.

Meniere's disease is a disorder of the balance and hearing organs in the inner ear, characterized by symptoms such as vertigo, fluctuations in hearing, tinnitus (ringing or buzzing sensations in the ears), and pressure in the ears. This may also cause dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.
The treatment for Meniere's disease depends on various factors, including the severity of symptoms and individual patient responses. An open discussion with a doctor can help determine the best treatment strategy in each case, which may include medication or lifestyle changes to manage symptoms.
Meniere's disease can be triggered by various conditions such as stress, overwork, fatigue, emotional distress, and other illnesses. Additionally, certain foods like dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, and high-sodium foods may trigger symptoms in some individuals.
Yes, mental stress can contribute to vertigo or make existing vertigo worse. However, stress by itself does not cause vertigo.
Vertigo may be caused by sudden drops in blood pressure, dehydration, rapid changes in body position (e.g., getting up too quickly), motion sickness, certain medications, or inner ear problems like Meniere's disease. In some cases, vertigo can also be a symptom of other disorders such as multiple sclerosis or head trauma.
Vercon 16mg Tablet is effective in managing symptoms if used according to the prescribed dose and duration by your doctor. Stopping treatment too early may lead to recurrence or worsening of symptoms.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it's almost time for the next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed one and proceed with your regular dosing schedule.
The duration of treatment may vary among individuals, so continue taking the medication as prescribed until your doctor advises otherwise or you experience significant improvement in symptoms.
Mild stomach issues like vomiting, stomach pain, bloating, and abdominal distension can occur. To minimize these side effects, take Vercon 16mg Tablet with food, but note that this may reduce its absorption.
