Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice).

It improves blood glucose levels in adults when taken along with proper diet and exercise. Glimepiride lowers blood glucose by increasing insulin release from the pancreas. Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that lowers postprandial (after meals) glucose levels.
