How it works
Vawe‐TH Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Vawe‐TH Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Vawe‐TH Tablet. Frequently asked questions
Can the use of Vawe‐TH Tablet be stopped when my pain is relieved?
Vawe‐TH Tablet is usually for short-term use and can be discontinued when pain relief is achieved. However, continued treatment with Vawe‐TH Tablet should be advised by a healthcare professional if required.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Vawe‐TH Tablet?
Vawe‐TH Tablet is not suitable for patients with known allergies to painkillers or any of its components. It should also be avoided in individuals with a history of stomach ulcers, active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease. Consult your doctor for guidance regarding these contraindications.
Can Vawe‐TH Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?
Yes, Vawe‐TH Tablet can be taken in combination with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Vawe‐TH Tablet helps relieve pain, vitamin B-complex supplements may help address any potential vitamin deficiency contributing to your symptoms.
Can the use of Vawe‐TH Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Yes, long-term use of Vawe‐TH Tablet can pose a risk to the kidneys. Prostaglandins are chemicals produced by the kidneys that protect them from damage. The use of pain relievers lowers prostaglandin levels in the body, which can lead to kidney damage over extended periods. Use of pain relievers is not recommended for individuals with pre-existing kidney disease.
Will Vawe‐TH Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
No, increasing the dose of this medicine will not enhance its effectiveness. It may even lead to increased side effects. If your symptoms worsen, consult your doctor for an appropriate reassessment.
Can the use of Vawe‐TH Tablet cause damage to liver?
Vawe‐TH contains Paracetamol. These medicines are known to harm the liver, especially at doses higher than recommended. Avoid alcohol consumption while using this medicine as it may further increase your risk of liver complications. Individuals with pre-existing liver disease should avoid or consult their doctor regarding Vawe‐TH Tablet usage.
What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Vawe‐TH Tablet?
Store Vawe‐TH Tablet in its original container, tightly closed. Follow the instructions on the label or packaging. Dispose of unused medication responsibly and ensure it does not fall into the hands of pets, children, or other individuals.
