Vasolazine Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps improve symptoms of heart failure and keeps your heart healthier. It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while taking Vasolazine Tablet as it may make the side effects worse. Do not take it in combination with medicines that treat erectile dysfunction (eg. sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) or high blood pressure as that can cause a major drop in blood pressure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vasolazine Tablet is to be taken with food.

Side Effects

This medicine may temporarily cause headaches, especially when starting treatment. Inform your doctor if it does not go away. Vasolazine Tablet may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.

Alcohol Warning

Consuming alcohol while taking Vasolazine Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Breastfeeding Warning

Vasolazine Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Vasolazine Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
