Vantaxa 5mg Tablet is a medicine prescribed to treat depression in adults. It belongs to a group of antidepressants known as serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS).

Introduction

Vantaxa 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it should be taken regularly at the same time each day. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. Your treatment may be continued for at least 6 months after your symptoms resolve. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully while taking this medicine. It may take a few weeks before you start to feel better. Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine even if you feel well. Doing so may make your condition worse.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vantaxa 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Vantaxa 5mg Tablet is a serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS). It works by acting on multiple brain chemicals including serotonin, noradrenaline, dopamine, histamine, and acetylcholine which are thought to be involved in controlling mood and related mental processes.

Take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in your body. Take it with food and/or at night to reduce nausea, diarrhea, or gas. Your doctor may alter your dose based on your response to the medicine. Keep taking it as prescribed. Your treatment may be continued for at least 6 months after the resolution of symptoms. Talk to your doctor if you experience sudden mood changes or unusual thoughts.
