Introduction

Valporil 200 mg/87 mg Tablet CR is a combination of two medicines used to treat epilepsy, a neurological disorder in which there are recurrent episodes of seizures or fits. It controls the abnormal activity of the brain, relaxes the nerves and hence, prevents seizures or fits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Valporil 200 mg/87 mg Tablet CR is to be taken with food.

Valporil 200 mg/87 mg Tablet CR is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid.

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the seizure frequency. Do not take Valporil 200 mg/87 mg Tablet CR if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
