UV Lube Eye Drop is a medicine used to relieve dry eyes by reducing inflammation and redness.
Eye Drop
UV Lube Eye Drop helps to soothe the irritation and burning seen in dry eyes by reducing inflammation (redness and pain). Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands before applying the medicine. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid. Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface or to your eye to avoid contaminating the eye drops. It may cause eye irritation and burning sensation immediately following the application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. Do not wear contact lenses while using it. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can do it safely.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
Minor burning/stinging/irritation may occur for 1-2 min after instilling the drops. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.

UV Lube Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Both hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were initially approved for malaria. However, chloroquine tends to cause more side effects than hydroxychloroquine. As a result, hydroxychloroquine is now used more often. While both drugs treat rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, only hydroxychloroquine is used for those conditions.
To prevent malaria, try covering your arms and legs to prevent mosquito bites, use a mosquito net while sleeping, and apply insect repellent. You may also need to take antimalarial tablets as recommended by your doctor.
