It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Usal LS Plus Syrup is a combination of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used for treating cough with mucus. Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic, thinning and loosening the mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levosalbutamol acts as a bronchodilator, relaxing airway muscles and widening them. Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant by decreasing the stickiness of mucus and helping remove it from airways.
Usal LS Plus Syrup is generally safe for most patients. However, some may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate. Inform your doctor immediately if you encounter persistent problems while taking this medication.
Use of Usal LS Plus Syrup is harmful in patients with a history of allergy to any active or inactive ingredients. Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol should not usually be taken together.
