Ursopure 300mg Tablet is generally considered to be a safe and effective medication. However, some common side effects may occur. Ursopure 300mg Tablet works by targeting the liver and concentrating in bile produced from the liver. This action suppresses the synthesis and secretion of cholesterol, reducing cholesterol levels within the bile. Additionally, it slows down bile-salts and cholesterol absorption in the intestines. These steps contribute to a gradual breakdown of gallstones through cholesterol dissolution and ultimately lead to their eventual elimination.
While Ursopure 300mg Tablet may sometimes cause weight gain, it is not a frequent side effect. Weight gain occurs more often in individuals with liver diseases characterized by the chronic stagnation of bile in the small bile ducts of the liver. In such cases, bile cannot flow freely from the liver to the intestines. The chance of weight gain varies between patients and depends on their individual condition; if you notice any noticeable weight changes consult your doctor.
While taking Ursopure 300mg Tablet, avoid using antacid preparations without consulting your doctor, as these can reduce the medication's effectiveness. Additionally, it is crucial to avoid taking medicines like cholestyramine or colestipol alongside this medication. Consult with your doctor regarding the appropriate timing for taking these medications to prevent potential interference.
