Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that helps in shrinking the prostate gland by decreasing the level of the hormone which helps the prostate gland grow.

Yes, the use of Urilosin-D Tablet ER can cause dizziness. This medication contains a combination of Tamsulosin and Dutasteride, which may lead to sudden changes in blood pressure when transitioning from lying to sitting or standing (orthostatic hypotension). Dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, spinning sensations, and vertigo are possible symptoms of this side effect.
The use of Urilosin-D Tablet ER is considered harmful for men under 18 years old, as it may affect normal male reproductive tract development. It's also potentially harmful for patients with known allergies to any component of this medication and for pregnant or women who are of childbearing potential. Notably, pregnant women should avoid handling Urilosin-D Tablet ER altogether because the medicine can be absorbed through the skin and pose risks to the fetus.

Retrograde ejaculation (semen does not leave the body, instead goes into the bladder) and ejaculation failure (reduced or absent ejaculation volume) are common complications associated with the use of Urilosin-D Tablet ER. However, these issues are generally harmless and more frequently seen when consuming high doses.
Yes, the use of Urilosin-D Tablet ER can potentially lead to priapism (painful and persistent penile erection unrelated to sexual activity). This is a serious, albeit rare side effect. If untreated, it can even lead to permanent impotence.
Using Urilosin-D Tablet ER may cause floppy eye syndrome. This condition causes the muscles in your iris to become loose and allows for unexpected pupil constriction during cataract surgery, potentially obstructing the surgical area and impacting outcomes.
To effectively manage your prostate symptoms, consider implementing simple lifestyle changes. Try to urinate immediately when you feel the urge; however, avoid straining or pushing while urinating. Avoid consuming fluids (especially alcohol and caffeine) a few hours before bedtime or going out. Additionally, limit the use of medications that tend to exacerbate urinary problems.
