It helps control blood sugar levels, thereby preventing serious complications such as kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, and loss of limbs. It is usually taken with food, and the dosage may vary based on individual response. Common side effects include indigestion, stomach upsets, and hypoglycemia. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and liver function is essential. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole with food. Do not chew, crush, or break it.

Take it shortly before or with the first main meal of the day (usually breakfast). Avoid skipping meals.
