Udapa M 5/1000 XR Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. It helps control the high blood sugar levels seen in diabetes, reducing the chances of serious complications of diabetes and also helps prevent heart disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Udapa M 5/1000 XR Tablet is to be taken with food.
Udapa M 5/1000 XR Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Dapagliflozin works by removing excess sugar (glucose) from your body through urine. Metformin works by lowering sugar production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.
You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Udapa M 5/1000 XR Tablet. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxious feeling.
