The appropriate timing of taking this medication may differ based on your specific condition. Your doctor might advise you to take two to three doses per day, with the last dose at bedtime. Uda 600mg Tablet SR can be taken with water, milk or after food. In cases involving gallstones, a single daily dose in the evening is generally recommended. Uda 600mg Tablet SR works by influencing the liver. It concentrates in the bile secreted from the liver, inhibiting the production and secretion of cholesterol. Consequently, this lowers the cholesterol levels in bile, promoting the dissolution of gallstones by reducing their size and eventual dissolver. Moreover, it inhibits the intestines from absorbing bile salts and cholesterol.
There is a potential for increased body weight with Uda 600mg Tablet SR use. However, this is not common. If you experience an increase in weight while using this medication, it may be due to liver disease, particularly when associated with chronic bile flow stasis in the small bile ducts of the liver. In such a condition, bile cannot flow from the liver to the small intestine. The extent and likelihood of weight gain vary widely depending on individual circumstances.

Additionally, avoid medications like cholestyramine or colestipol, as they also affect the efficacy of Uda 600mg Tablet SR.
