Tussalyte XP Syrup is a syrup that contains three active medicines: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, and Terbutaline. It is used to treat wet cough (cough with mucus) in children. The medicine helps in thinning and loosening mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe. The medicine should be given to the child orally, with or without food, and the dose and duration should be as advised by the doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Tussalyte XP Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Practice self-care tips: clean and disinfect surfaces after sneezing and coughing, give your child plenty of fluids, restrain your child from having caffeinated products and foods that are spicy and fried, make your child gargle with warm saltwater, and ensure your child takes enough rest.
