Truxofol 7.5 mg/1 mg Tablet is a combination of Methotrexate and Folic Acid. It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and should be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Truxofol 7.5 mg/1 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Truxofol 7.5 mg/1 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Methotrexate and Folic Acid. Methotrexate is an anticancer and immunosuppressive medication that works in cancer by slowing the growth of cancer cells by blocking building blocks that cancer cells need to grow. It also works in autoimmune disease by decreasing the activity of body's immune system and prevents the body from attacking itself. Folic Acid, a form of vitamin B, is added to prevent Folic Acid deficiency caused by Methotrexate.
Truxofol 7.5 mg/1 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Avoid taking painkillers along with this medicine without consulting your doctor. Do not have any immunizations (vaccinations) while you are taking this medicine and for several months afterward without talking with your doctor first. Avoid alcohol while taking Truxofol 7.5 mg/1 mg Tablet.
