Trofil 60mg/100mg/2mg Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Trofil 60mg/100mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Guaifenesin, Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which treat parasitic infections. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) helping in its removal from the airways. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the worms. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.

You have been prescribed Trofil 60mg/100mg/2mg Tablet to treat a variety of parasitic worm infections. Your doctor may monitor your blood counts and liver function before you start taking this medicine and regularly throughout your treatment. Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of infection. Always wash your hands: After using the toilet. Before, during, and after preparing food. Before eating food. Before and after caring for a person who is sick. After touching an animal or animal waste. Cook food to its recommended internal temperature. Always boil your water to make it safe to drink.
