Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet is a medicine prescribed to treat depression in adults. It belongs to a group of antidepressants known as serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS).

Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it should be taken regularly at the same time each day. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. Your treatment may be continued for at least 6 months after your symptoms resolve. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully while taking this medicine. It may take a few weeks before you start to feel better. Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine even if you feel well. Doing so may make your condition worse.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is important to discuss stopping Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet with your doctor before doing so, as abrupt discontinuation can result in withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, nightmares, headache, and/or paresthesias (prickling or tingling sensations on the skin). Continue taking Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet for the prescribed duration as recommended by your doctor to maximize benefit. Your doctor may gradually reduce your dose before discontinuing it completely.
Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet can be taken once a day either in the morning or at night. It is generally recommended to take it in the morning as it may cause restlessness or sleep disruption if taken late at night. You can take Trivoxetin 5mg Tablet with or without food, and it's best to take it at the same time each day for consistency.
