How it works

Trispas Injection is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Pitofenone, and Fenpiverinium. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. Pitofenone and Fenpiverinium are anticholinergics. They work by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) to stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, they relieve cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Quick Tips

You have been prescribed Trispas Injection to get relief from abdominal cramps and pain. It is given by a doctor or nurse when the first sign of pain occurs. Avoid taking any antacid at least 2 hours before or after taking Trispas Injection.
