It prevents the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods and blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. The most common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal pain. It may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Consult your doctor if you do not notice any changes in periods after three consecutive periods. Inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems or vaginal bleeding disorder. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
