The duration of treatment with Topper 50mg Tablet is determined by your healthcare provider based on individual needs. While it doesn't cure the underlying condition (seizures or migraine), its effectiveness in preventing seizures/migraines requires continued use for months or years, depending on symptom improvement and any associated side effects.

Serious side effects associated with Topper 50mg Tablet are rare. However, they can include: glaucoma (difficulty seeing, eye pain, and blurred vision), kidney stones (sharp pain in your sides or lower back), and metabolic acidosis (tiredness, loss of appetite, irregular and faint heartbeat). It is worth noting that Topper 50mg Tablet itself can cause hyperammonemia in some cases.
Topper 50mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of seizures in children who are older than 2 years. However, it's not currently recommended for the management of migraines in children.
Weight loss may be a possible side effect of Topper 50mg Tablet due to a decrease in appetite. It is crucial to discuss any concerns you might have with your doctor who can provide guidance and advice.
