Topkof Expectorant may make your child feel sleepy. Advise your child to be cautious when taking part in physical activities. Do not share your child’s medicines with other children, even if they show similar symptoms. Stop Topkof Expectorant and immediately report to the doctor if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties. Practice self-care tips: Clean and disinfect surfaces after sneezing and coughing to avoid allergies, give your child plenty of fluids, restrain your child from having caffeinated products and foods that are spicy and fried, make your child gargle with warm saltwater, and ensure your child takes enough rest.
Topkof Expectorant is for treating wet coughs, as it helps to remove mucus from the airway tract and provides soothing relief. For dry coughs, cough suppressants are better choices. It's crucial to consult your child's doctor before administering any medication to your child.
Overdosing or prolonged use of Topkof Expectorant may lead to serious side effects such as seizures, rapid heartbeat, and excessive salivation. Always adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, timing, and administration route for this medication. Ensure a gradual stop in case your child experiences improvement; abrupt withdrawal can worsen their condition.
It is not advisable to administer multiple cough or cold medications simultaneously unless specifically instructed by your child's doctor. For any uncertainties, always consult your child's healthcare provider before administering any medication.
Only medicines designed for children should be given to them as adults' medications can have unintended side effects. Carefully examine the medicine label before giving it to your child and always stick to the prescribed dosage.
Topkof Expectorant is best stored at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Keep medications inaccessible and out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
