Tomkid 10mg Tablet is a non-stimulant medicine used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. It helps to improve attention span, concentration, and reduces impulsive behavior. The medicine should be taken at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Tomkid 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tomkid 10mg Tablet.
Tomkid 10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Tomkid 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you.

Tomkid 10mg Tablet modulates the activity of certain chemical messengers in the brain, which increases attention and decreases restlessness. It is a non-stimulant medicine.
Take Tomkid 10mg Tablet at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. Your doctor will monitor your heart rate and blood pressure regularly while taking the medicine. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires concentration until you know how it affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience unusual changes in mood or behavior or suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking medicine without talking to your doctor first.
You may notice positive changes within the first month of taking Tomkid 10mg Tablet. However, your dose might be adjusted if you don't experience sufficient benefit after this time.
Nausea is a common side effect of this medication. Eating smaller, more frequent meals can help reduce nausea. Avoid foods that are salty, spicy, fried, or fatty.
Call your doctor immediately if you experience suicidal thoughts, chest pain, severe stomach pain accompanied by nausea, vomiting, dark urine, pale stools, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
Do not take any other antidepressant medication along with Tomkid 10mg Tablet without first consulting your doctor. This combination may cause side effects like tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness, fever, rapid pulse, rapid breathing, or confusion.
Tomkid 10mg Tablet is only for children aged 6 years and older.
This medication is typically taken once or twice daily (early morning and late afternoon/early evening). If you find yourself feeling sleepy during the day, speak to your doctor about when to best time to take your medicine.
