This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Tolar-LX Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ketorolac and Dexamethasone. Ketorolac a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. They work together by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.
Tolar-LX Eye Drops is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and eye pain after any eye surgery. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up or your eyes heal completely after surgery. Your eyes can become more sensitive to sunlight than usual post eye infections or surgery. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this. Along with using Tolar-LX Eye Drops, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
