Introduction

Tofadoz 20mg Gel should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need, it will not clear your condition faster and may cause undesirable side effects. This medicine is usually safe to use and does not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms on using the medicine, let your doctor know. They may suggest ways to minimize or treat the side effects. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have recently used another medicine that contains a steroid or had an allergic reaction to another medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using this medicine.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Tofadoz 20mg Gel suppresses overactive immune system by inhibiting certain enzymes called Janus kinases (JAKs). Thus, Tofadoz 20mg Gel blocks the production of pro-inflammatory substances (including cytokines) that contribute to the development of inflammation and other symptoms of atopic dermatitis. When used for androgenetic alopecia, Tofadoz 20mg Gel prevents destruction of hair follicles by overactive immune system. Applying Tofadoz 20mg Gel helps in hair regrowth in areas affected by androgenetic alopecia.

Apply Tofadoz 20mg Gel to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily or as advised by your doctor. Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin. Remember to wash your hands after applying Tofadoz 20mg Gel unless this is the area being treated. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth, nose and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing. Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor as this may increase the risk of side effects. Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment in case of atopic dermatitis.
