Introduction
Toby D Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used to treat bacterial eye infections. It is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin. Dexamethasone is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that make the eye red, swollen, and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed in the label. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Complete your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection.

Quick Tips
Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. Wash your hands first before applying Toby D Eye Drop. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up. Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this. Along with using Toby D Eye Drop, give warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation. Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other and to other members of your family.
