How it works
Tobram D Eye Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen, and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Quick Tips
Your doctor has prescribed Tobram D Eye Ointment to cure your eye infection and improve your symptoms. Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other and to other members of your family.
