Introduction
Tobacin-F Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection. Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. How it works
Tobacin-F Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Tobramycin and Fluorometholone. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Fluorometholone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen, and itchy.
