Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Tizanidine which relieve muscle pain. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

You have been prescribed Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles. Take it with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. You may see results within 1.5 to 2 hours after taking Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet as it can increase your risk of stomach problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. Along with taking Tizaflex 100 mg/2 mg Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from muscle pain.
