Texavil GH 250mg/50mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of melasma (brown colored patches on the face). It helps in reducing the amount of skin-darkening pigment called melanin in the skin. It also lightens the darkened skin patches and spots and helps in the detoxification of the skin.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Texavil GH 250mg/50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How it works
Texavil GH 250mg/50mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Glutathione. Tranexamic Acid is an anti-fibrinolytic that reduces the production of melanin (a pigment that gives the skin its color) by altering the activity of some enzymes that aid in melanin synthesis. Glutathione is an antioxidant that protects cell and tissue damage, lightens skin tone and helps in detoxification of the skin.
