How it works
Torbicad Plus Cream is a combination of Five medicines: Clobetasol, Neomycin, Miconazole, Zinc Oxide and Borax. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Borax and zinc provide essential nutrients to the body.
Quick Tips
You have been prescribed Terbicad Plus Cream for the treatment of skin infections due to fungus. Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying. Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin twice a day. Fungal infections often occur in warm, moist areas of the body. After washing or showering, make sure that all areas of your skin are dried well, particularly areas such as skin folds and between your toes. Do not share your towel or clothes with anyone and wear clean clothes every day to prevent infection. It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor.
