Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of HIV infection and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It prevents the multiplication of viruses in human cells.

Your doctor will closely monitor you for these in the initial period of treatment.

Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. You may still develop infections or other illnesses associated with viral infection while taking this medication. You can also pass on HIV or HBV to others. Don't share needles or personal items that can have blood or body fluids on them.
Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet may reduce the risk of transmitting HIV-1 to others, but it does not eliminate this risk. In cases of HBV infection, there is no evidence that Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet reduces the risk of transferring the virus to others. Therefore, patients with both HIV-1 and HBV infections should practice safe sex and avoid sharing contaminated needles.

If you experience vomiting within one hour of taking Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet, take another tablet immediately. If vomiting occurs more than one hour after taking the medicine, you may not need to take another tablet. Seek medical advice from your doctor if vomiting occurs frequently or persists for an extended period.
If you miss a dose of Tenocruz AF 25mg Tablet within twelve hours, take the missed dose with food as soon as possible and resume your normal dosing schedule. However, if it has been more than twelve hours since your last dose, simply skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
